Just wanted to share a quick post of my Easter look from Sunday. The weather was awesome and I got the chance to break out some of my recently purchased and “constructed” spring apparel. Considering my recent shopping streak, I started a great backlog of spring I’ve just been itching to wear.
I broke out my recently purchased Betsey Johnson bright yellow waist dress and compliment it with a lace top made by yours truly, white heart-shaped sunglass and Bagley Mischka white satin shoes.
This fun colorful look is a direct result of my don’t always wear black campaign, which may l add has been a struggle. However, in my aforementioned multiple shopping trips I have purchase little to no black items. Trust me there were a lot that I wanted but I stayed strong and stayed the colorful course and I’m glad. Without my commitment to color I wouldn’t have had found my yellow Betsey dress.
When I saw it on the rack I was drawn to the vibrant color and visual texture of the fabric and when I tried it on I love the retro vintage fit and flare of the dress. I know it was perfect for my Easter look. All in all it was fun, festive and favorably hued look for the holiday with family and friends.
